Definitions of Camera conditions

NEW

This means it has never been sold by a retailer. Some people consider New and Mint to be the same .. it's not.

New Other This is either NEW "Old Stock" where the item is new but the packing is torn or damaged or a NEW item that has been returned un-used or un-opened.

MINT

Mint is perfect, anything less .... even the most minute scratch makes it less than mint.

MINT-

Very close to being mint. Only one or two tiny marks that are really hard to see.

Exc+

The item shows a few signs of use, but it is still a lovely item. Bright marks on Chrome or "Brassing" on black cameras can fall into this category.

Exc

Positive signs of use, a larger area of bright marks, heavier brassing on black cameras and even brassing on chrome.

Exc-

Here it is obvious the camera has seen regular use. The camera may well have dent or have deep scratches to the paint work or scuffs to the leatherette. The camera will be usable but not necessarily cosmetically pleasing to the eye.

Below this level, I generally do not offer cameras for sale. If I have them, they are usually broken down for spare parts.
